I was born in London, Ontario and raised in a strong Christian home. It was at the young age of five that I came to know Christ as my Lord and Savior. It’s my earliest memory as a child and one of my most precious ones too. I was baptized at the age of nine and by the time I was twelve, I felt clearly called by God to full time Christian service. I thank God for giving me a lovely and godly Christian wife, Shannon and two great children, Clarke and KayLee, who are also committed Christians. I have been a pastor for 26 years now and I count it a privilege to serve God here at Meadowvale Bible Baptist Church, as well as give pastoral oversight to our Christian school ministry. Most of all, I want my entire life to be to the praise and the glory of God.
Favorite Restaurant: Bob Evans – only in the U.S. – you’ve got to try it!

I grew up in a Christian family and accepted Jesus as my savior and Lord as a 13 year old, at a crusade at my home church in the then mining town of Linden in Guyana South America. I was extremely blessed to be mentored by some humble servants of God. I became a member of our youth group leadership team. I went off to university in the mid-eighties and was involved in Inter-Varsity in Budapest Hungary. My wife and I migrated to Canada in 2002 and we have been attending this church since 2007 and we are both serving here.

I was born in Japan to parents who were missionaries in Toyama Prefecture - an area of Japan where Christianity was virtually unheard of at the time. I came to Christ at the age of 5 or 6, as the Spirit spoke to me powerfully through the story of Jesus and Nicodemus, convicting me of my sin and the need to be born again through believing that Christ died for me and rose again. After coming to Canada to continue my education, my family and I eventually came to MBBC in 2006 when we moved to Mississauga. The Lord has blessed me with my wonderful wife Andrea and two growing boys Caleb and Tyler, and the biggest blessing of all is that we all get to be members together at MBBC, surrounded by a community of caring fellow believers.
Favorite Restaurant: I want to say, "all of them!"
Favorite Bible Character: Next to Jesus, I am torn between Samuel and Daniel, who both dedicated their lives to serving God at an early age, were used powerfully and followed God faithfully for their entire lives.
Favorite Bible Verse: John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." It's the verse that helped me understand my need for salvation

I grew up attending a Catholic Church with my sister. After getting married, having three children and moving to Mississauga my mom introduced Charm and I to MBBC. There were a lot of circumstances and opportunities in my life where I could recall God calling me to Himself in a different way than I knew Him. Charm and I decided to follow the Lord Jesus in the waters of Baptism through the ministry of Pastor Lester Laird. Soon after, the entire family became very active in many ministries of MBBC. Charm and I spent a lot of our time working in the young people, the music and the hospitality ministries. Of course, God also drew me to church leadership. My desire is to be continually open to God’s leading. I covet everyone’s prayers, for me to become more grounded in His Word and to be prepared as God continues to call me to minister.

My father was a Baptist minister, and I was raised in a loving Christian home, attending church and Sunday school from the time I was a preschooler. I accepted the Lord as my Savior and was baptized at the age of 17 or 18. I serve because I feel it is important to be involved in the church beyond just attending Sunday services. Beyond the spiritual rewards, most times it is a joy and inspiration to be involved with other Christians.

They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. ‘The LORD is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘Therefore I hope in Him.’ The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. ”John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Although I was raised in a family that went to church and was involved in youth groups etc., I did not know about making a personal commitment to Christ until Pauleen and I were dating. I accepted Christ when I was 24. I believe that serving in the church is a major part of my Christian faith and hope that through serving God is glorified.

Raised in a Christian family and followed the trajectory of all my peers, but it wasn't until my Junior year in University when I gained, cultivated and committed to a saving relationship with God. It was my poor decisions and pride that led me to a very brief stint of homelessness, but it was at this time when God stirred my heart to dig deeper into his word and serve. I was baptized at 13 years old but my relationship with God was solidified at a revival in North Carolina after I sang a song called "All Honor". I knew at that moment, no matter what hardship came my way there would be no turning back.

Favorite Bible Verse: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10: "And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong"
